  9. We're so squeezed for space this month that we don't have room for our
  10. usual interface. There are 4 self extracting ZIP files on this months'
  11. Project Disk. They are:
  12.  
  13.         PIPEX.EXE       This is the PIPEX Solo demonstration software.
  14.                         You can extract it manually by copying it to
  15.                         your C drive and then typing PIPEX -D. This will 
  16.                         create a directory called PIPEX on your hard 
  17.                         drive. You should then copy the files and directories 
  18.                         inside the C:\PIPEX directory to a blank formatted
  19.                         1.44 floppy disk. You can use the WIndows File Manager
  20.                         to do this. You can then run the SETUP.EXE on this 
  21.                         floppy using Program Manager to complete the 
  22.                         installation.

  24.         FONTFIX.EXE     These are the files that were missing from last
  25.                         months' Project Disk. To extract them you should 
  26.                         copy this file into your Windows System directory 
  27.                         and then type FONTFIX to extract the files from 
  28.                         the ZIP.
  29.         
  30.         CODEROOM.EXE    These are the files from this months'Coderoom. 
  31.                         To extract them copy this file into a directory 
  32.                         on your hard drive and type CODEROOM to extract 
  33.                         them. A list of the files called FILELIST.TXT is 
  34.                         included.
  35.         
  36.         EXPERTS.EXE     These are the files from this months' Ask the 
  37.                         Experts DOS section. To extract them copy this 
  38.                         file into a directory on your hard drive and type 
  39.                         EXPERTS to extract them. Once again a FILELIST.TXT 
  40.                         is included.

  44. Alternatively you can use the INSTALL.BAT file supplied on the Project Disk
  45. for an automated installation of all of these components.

  47. This routine assumes your Windows System directory is C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and
  48. will create the directories C:\PCA\EXPERTS and C:\PCA\CODEROOM for the Ask
  49. Experts and Coderoom files.

  51. The PIPEX Solo files will be copied into a directory called C:\PIPEX which 
  52. it will create. It will then prompt you for a blank formatted 1.44 floppy
  53. to be inserted into drive A:. This will become your PIPEX Solo installation
  54. disk.

  57. To run the automatic installation:
  58. type A: and press Return/Enter 
  59. Then 
  60. type INSTALL and press Return/Enter
